CLOUDS

I read these words in the passing clouds:

  the heart is a slender lighthouse   

amidst a raging ocean of emotions in turmoil

I heard this whispered hoarsely in the sky:

  stand still dear and let go

so the aching lighthouse will prevail

  slender and strong

for ever
